Electrical Wiring

Wiring done to code, from first fix to final test

From a brand-new build to a decades-old rewire, our electricians plan the circuit layout, run the cable, and test every connection before it's signed off — no shortcuts hidden behind a wall.

ELECTRICAL WIRING & DISTRIBUTION

What's included

Wiring work we handle every week

  • New-build first-fix and second-fix wiring
  • Full and partial rewires of older properties
  • Consumer unit / distribution board upgrades
  • Fault-finding, tripping breakers and dead sockets
  • Earthing and bonding to current standards
  • Lighting circuits, sockets and dedicated appliance circuits

Why it matters

Bad wiring is invisible until it isn't

Loose connections, undersized cable and missing earths rarely announce themselves — they show up as a warm socket, a tripping breaker, or worse. We size cable to the actual load, label every circuit, and leave you with a distribution board that makes sense to the next electrician who opens it.

Common questions

Wiring FAQ

Can you wire a house that's still under construction?

Yes — first-fix wiring is done before plastering, with second-fix (sockets, switches, fittings) completed once finishes are on. We coordinate directly with your contractor's schedule.

My breaker keeps tripping. Is that a wiring job?

Usually. Recurring trips almost always trace back to an overloaded circuit, a failing appliance, or a wiring fault, and we diagnose it on site rather than just replacing the breaker.

Do you rewire occupied houses?

Yes, we plan rewires in stages so rooms stay usable, and we test and certify each circuit before covering it up.
