Solar energy installations, sized to your actual load
Rising Kenya Power tariffs and load-shedding make solar the single highest-value upgrade most homes and businesses can make. We design every system from a real site survey and load audit, then supply, install and commission it ourselves.
Why solar, why now
Solar pays for itself, then keeps paying.
A correctly sized solar system does two jobs at once: it lowers what you pay Kenya Power every month, and it keeps essential circuits alive when the grid goes down. Getting both right depends entirely on accurate sizing, which is where most cheap installations fall short.
Choose your system
Three ways to go solar
Grid-tied solar
Panels feed your existing Kenya Power supply directly, cutting your day-time bill immediately. Lowest cost per watt, no batteries required, ideal where outages are rare.
Hybrid solar (grid + battery)
Panels and batteries work alongside the grid, so critical circuits keep running through outages while excess solar still offsets your bill. The most common system we install.
Off-grid solar
A complete, standalone power supply for sites with no grid connection: panels, batteries and inverter sized to carry the whole load, day and night.
How we work
From survey to switch-on
- 01
Site survey & load audit
We list every appliance you actually run and measure your roof, so the system is sized to your real usage, not a rough estimate.
- 02
System design
Panel count, inverter size, battery capacity and cable runs are calculated and drawn up, with a single-line diagram for your records.
- 03
Supply
Panels, inverters, batteries, mounting and cabling are sourced from brands we trust and stock ourselves, so lead times stay short.
- 04
Installation
Roof mounting, wiring, earthing and switchgear are installed by our own crew, not a subcontractor, and tidied up before we leave.
- 05
Commissioning & handover
We test the full system under load, walk you through the monitoring app, and hand over warranties and as-built drawings.
- 06
Aftercare
Optional maintenance visits for panel cleaning, battery health checks and firmware updates keep performance from drifting over time.

Solar street & security lighting
Standalone solar street lights bring reliable lighting to estate roads, parking yards, gates and trading centres without trenching for cable or paying for the electricity afterwards.
- All-in-one and split-pole solar light options
- Dusk-to-dawn and motion-activated modes
- Poles and foundations sized to your site
- Bulk pricing for estates, schools and institutions

Solar water heating
For homes and lodges that run electric or gas water heating, a solar thermal or PV-driven system cuts one of the largest line items on a utility bill and pairs naturally with a wider solar install.
- Direct solar thermal and PV-to-heating options
- Sized to household or guest occupancy
- Backup element for cloudy days
Common questions
Solar energy FAQ
How much of my Kenya Power bill can solar realistically cut?
It depends on your roof space and how much of your usage happens during daylight, but most grid-tied homes and shops we install for see a significant, measurable drop from month one. We calculate an expected figure for your specific site before you commit, based on your load audit rather than a generic percentage.
Do I need batteries?
Only if you want power during an outage or at night. A grid-tied system without batteries still lowers your bill; adding batteries is what keeps lights, fridges and routers running when Kenya Power is down.
How long does an installation take?
A typical residential system is designed and installed within one to two weeks of a site survey, depending on panel count and roof access. Larger commercial and industrial systems are scoped individually.
What maintenance does a solar system need?
Panels need periodic cleaning, especially in dusty areas, and batteries benefit from an annual health check. We offer maintenance contracts, but the systems are built to run with minimal attention between visits.
